On 1 July 2008, the Convention on the Accession of the 10 Member States, which joined the European Union on 1 May 2004, to the Arbitration Convention 90/436/EEC (Accession Convention) will enter into force for France. On 11 April 2008, France deposited a notification with the Council of the European Union.
