According to a release from Mongolia's Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, officials from Australia and Mongolia met on 27 April 2023 to discuss the conclusion of a social security agreement. Any resulting agreement would be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
