According to a release from Mongolia's Ministry of Family, Labour, and Social Protection, officials from Austria and Mongolia began the third round of negotiations for a social security agreement on 11 March 2025. Any resulting agreement would be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
