The Budget for 2010 was presented to the parliament by the Minister of Finance and Economic Development on 18 November 2009. Details of the Budget will be summarized below.

Direct taxation

(a) Withholding taxes. Royalties paid to non-residents will be subject to a final withholding tax at the rate of 15% (currently, 10%).
