Officials from Cambodia and the United Arab Emirates met from 4 to 6 April 2023 for the second round of negotiations for an income tax treaty. The first round of negotiations was held in September 2021. Any resulting treaty will be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
