On 15 June 2020, the French tax authority announced that the deadline for filing the annual declaration for trustees is exceptionally extended to 30 September 2020. Normally due on 15 June, the annual trust declaration (Form no. 2181-TRUST2) must be filed by French or foreign trustees of trusts that involve French resident settlors or beneficiaries, or that include French assets.
