According to a recent update to Google's Jurisdiction-specific surcharges guidance, Google Ads will begin charging a surcharge for ads served in Canada to partly cover the cost of compliance with the country's new digital services tax. Similar charges are also imposed in other countries with similar taxes including Austria, France, India, Italy, Spain, Turkey, and the United Kingdom.
