Kenya Looking to Revise Tax Treaties with Germany, Iran, and Zambia

The Kenyan government has reportedly expressed its interest in advancing negotiations for revisions to the 1977 tax treaty with Germany, the 2012 tax treaty with Iran, and the 1968 tax treaty with Zambia to implement the OECD BEPS standards. Any resulting revisions would be the first to the respective treaties and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
