On 7 May 2019, the Cabinet of Liberia approved the draft bill for the ratification of the pending income tax treaty with the United Arab Emirates The treaty, signed 30 April 2019, is the first of its kind between the two countries and will enter into force after the ratification instruments are exchanged. Details of the treaty will be published once available.
