Pakistan's Federal Board of Revenue has issued a notice inviting proposals for the upcoming Budget 2018-19. General areas for which proposals are sought include the following:

• Improvements in tax laws;
• Broadening of the tax base;
• Enhancement of the tax to GDP ratio;
• Generation in revenue; and
• Facilitation of taxpayers.
