On 10 February 2018, the protocol to the 2003 income tax treaty between Brazil and South Africa entered into force. The protocol, signed 31 July 2015, replaces Article 26 (Exchange of Information) to bring it in line with the OECD standard for information exchange and applies from the date of its entry into force.
