During a recent meeting between officials from Cambodia and South Korea, Korea expressed the need to enter into an income tax treaty in order to strengthen cooperation and increase investment. Any resulting agreement would be the first of its kind between the two countries, and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
