Officials from South Korea and Togo met from 30 to 31 October 2023 to discuss bilateral cooperation, including Korea's interest in negotiating and signing an income tax treaty. Any resulting treaty would be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
