According to recent reports, the tax information exchange agreement between Costa Rica and the Faroe Islands entered into force on 16 November 2019. The agreement, signed 29 June 2011, is the first of its kind between the two countries and applies for criminal tax matters on the date of its entry into force, and for other matters from 1 January 2020.
