Officials from Armenia and Vietnam reportedly met on 6 July 2019 to discuss bilateral issues and agreed to begin negotiations for an income tax treaty. Any resulting treaty would be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
