On 15 June 2009, Mexico and Switzerland initialed a tax treaty to provide administrative assistance in tax matters under Art. 26 of the OECD Model convention. Once signed and in force, the new treaty will replace the Mexico-Switzerland income tax treaty and protocol of 3 August 1993.
